Strikes me, CBAG need some strategy. If y'all just want to give a couple of dozen punters an interesting Food&Beer experience, then OK, mission accomplished. If it's intended to promote beer and food matching generally, in Cumbria, maybe it needs promotion to the Cumbrian foodies, rather than beer fans. Based solely on the evidence of this clip from Radio Sheepdip that's something Mr Bs people had figured out already.

I'm guessing Annette Gibbons wasn't invited to the CBAG nights? Which local "food leaders" were?
You can't invite them if you've never heard of them.
CBAG have never heard of any local "food leaders"? I'm guessing Mr. Brodie has - Ms. G talked about nothing else.
The events sold out. perhaps we need to make them bigger.
